REV. JOHNNY L. LETMAN, III

Rev. Johnny L. Letman, III, was born in Lake Charles, LA to Johnny L. Letman, Jr. and Margeneil Letman.

Rev. Letman accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior in 1984.  He became member of New Faith Church in Houston, Texas under the leadership of Pastor T.R. Williams.  While at New Faith, Rev. Letman accepted his call to the ministry.  He preached his first sermon, “Guilty By Association”, and was ordained on March 11, 1990 at Fifth Ward Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Delbert A. Mack, Sr.  There, he also served Youth, Men’s and Marriage Minister.  Rev. Letman served as Director of the Marriage Ministry at South Post Oak Baptist Church.

After 30 years in the refining industry,  Rev. Letman accepted a full time staff position at Cathedral of Faith Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Mack.  He is currently serving as the Equipping Minister and Director of the Men’s Ministry.   Over the years, Rev. Letman has matriculated through many seminars and studies at Trinity College and Theological Seminary College of Biblical Studies, Dr. Joel Gregory Razor’s Edge, George W. Truett Theological Seminary and E.K. Bailey Preaching Conferences.

Rev. Letman was blessed to meet and marry Lorraine Derruso.  After 42 plus years of marriage, God has blessed their union with five children, four daughters and one son.
